On May 12, the CNX team, mentors, partner organizations, and proud families gathered to celebrate the largest graduating Mentorship Academy class yet.
The ceremony marked the latest milestone in a program that continues to open doors for young people across Appalachia. Watch the video below for a look inside the ceremony, where graduates were celebrated not just for finishing a program, but for taking real steps toward rewarding careers close to home.
Since its founding, the Mentorship Academy has connected hundreds of high school juniors and seniors with mentors, hands-on industry experience, and a network of regional partners. CNX’s Appalachia First vision is about more than a single ceremony. It’s about building a stronger, more resilient workforce, one graduating class at a time.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025-2026 — we can’t wait to see where you go next.
CNX is grateful to the Academy partners that make these visits possible, providing students greater confidence to enter the many career paths available after high school across western Pennsylvania.
