Mentorship Academy Students Dig Into Energy Career Opportunities with Deep Well Services

Have you ever wondered what a day in the life working in energy looks like? On this week’s episode of #ThePathForward, Mentorship Academy students interested in the energy career track visited Deep Well Services to understand what it takes to be a natural gas-field professional and why the energy industry is important for continued success of the Appalachian region.
Students spent time learning from CNX’s industry partners, Deep Well Services and Evolution, to gain exposure into the daily operations of the training and technology companies. Hearing from Josh Cress, Deep Well Safety Manager and Ryan McCann, Evolution Northwest Regional Manager, the attending mentees left with expanded knowledge of hydraulic completion, electrical fracking, and energy career pathways available across Appalachia.
“Energy is so critical to the success of the Appalachian region, which is why we support our students as they are becoming the future successes for the region,” said Jocelyn Williams, CNX Foundation and Mentorship Academy Coordinator. “Deep Well needs dedicated workers to operate their equipment and aid in company growth, so they can provide more services to more people in our region.”
