On this episode of #ThePathForward, Mentorship Academy students visit Pittsburgh International Airport to learn about several regional industry opportunities operations at the facility, including hospitality, building trades, real estate and energy.
The site visit served as a culmination of all the career paths Mentorship Academy students explored throughout the 2022-2023 school year.
“We’re here today to welcome students from the CNX Foundation’s Mentorship Academy to show them the range of opportunities available at this airport in order to encourage them to think about applying for some of the jobs that are here or consider them for the future,” said Christina Cassotis, CEO of Allegheny County Airport Authority.
CNX is a key partner of Pittsburgh International Airport. CNX uses natural gas produced at the airport and converts it into alternative fuel with CNX proprietary technology. The success of this natural gas regional ecosystem contributes directly to CNX's Appalachia First vision, allowing CNX to invest back into initiatives like the Mentorship Academy.
