Fan Fest & Opening Ceremonies Launch PONY League World Series Week-Long Celebration of Youth Baseball in Washington County

The CNX Foundation places tremendous value on youth sports and athletic programs, not only because they contribute so powerfully to physical health, but because they play a significant role in their communities. In addition to this being the first of a three-year presenting sponsorship of DICK’S SPORTING GOODS PONY League World Series, CNX Foundation is also thrilled to announce its Dream Fields grant program, which is designed to rehabilitate and revitalize sports fields across the Appalachian basin.

CNX is excited to kick off this week-long celebration of baseball Thursday night at PennWest California’s Fan Fest at DICK’s SPORTING GOODS store in Washington County. And from the first pitch on Friday, August 11 to closing ceremonies on August 16, CNX staff will be present at the series to talk about the Dream Fields grant program and the organization’s greater commitment to Appalachia as a whole.
